Breanna Bisek, MA, ATR-P

Welcome!
Hello, I’m Breanna. I am an Art Therapist and Mental Health Practitioner.
Growth often starts in unexpected places — and art mirrors this process. Experimenting with a new approach, learning a skill, creating something messy, or having a tough conversation can all open the door to change. I bring curiosity and creativity into sessions and value seeing the bigger picture when navigating challenges. My work is process-led; rather than focusing on a “right” way to create, I emphasize attention and discovery — noticing what emerges and allowing meaning to unfold over time.

My approach:

My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. I have experience supporting individuals with disabilities, persistent mental health challenges, substance use concerns, perfectionism, anxiety, mood concerns, self-esteem, and neurodiversity, as well as leading art therapy groups in community and organizational settings. I value building authentic relationships that focus on strengths and adapt to individuals’ unique and changing needs.

Through art therapy and creative exploration, we connect to a nonjudgmental mindset that supports embracing imperfections, taking risks, shifting perspectives, and finding purpose in challenges. Art can be used as a coping tool, a way to safely express and navigate emotions, and as a meaningful form of self-care. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist — the process itself offers space for reflection and understanding.

Specializes in working with:

  • Adults (primary focus)

  • Adolescents and children 10+

  • Individuals navigating anxiety, mood disorders, or perfectionism

  • Clients managing serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) or disabilities

  • People in substance use recovery

  • Strengths-based, client-centered approach

Outside the Therapy Room:

Outside of work, I enjoy travel, new experiences, and learning new things. I feel especially grounded spending time outdoors near water or scenic overlooks. I love animals (cats in particular), music and concerts, and often have several creative projects going at once.

Most importantly:
I would be honored to hold space and walk alongside you, supporting your growth and self-discovery while meeting you where you are in your journey.
