Celia Kolarik, MA, ATR-P
Welcome!
Hi, I’m Celia. I am a Mental Health and Art Therapist Practitioner with a focus in Adlerian Psychology. I believe we are all creative beings, and that having an outlet such as art is essential. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions.
My approach:
My passion lies in supporting children and adolescents who are navigating the impacts of trauma and behavioral challenges. I believe in the healing power of creativity and self-expression, where my ultimate goal is to provide a space where young people can explore emotions, build resilience, and discover their sense of self through the therapeutic process.
My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and developmentally sensitive. I integrate a range of art modalities to meet each client where they are emotionally and behaviorally, helping them communicate in ways that feel natural and empowering. Whether a client is dealing with emotional regulation or past traumatic experiences, I work collaboratively with them and their families to foster growth, connection, and lasting change.
Art therapy allows children and adolescents to access thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express verbally. I am continually inspired by their creativity, strength, and capacity for healing. If you are seeking support for a young person in your life, I would be honored to walk alongside them in their journey toward healing and the promise of a bright future.
