Faith Sumpter, MSW, LGSW
Hi, I’m Faith Sumpter. I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist dedicated to supporting individuals ages 13 and up as they navigate life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem.
I use a strengths-based perspective and a person-centered approach, focusing on building a trusting relationship where clients feel supported and safe. I draw from various interventions to meet each individual’s unique needs and to honor where they are in their journey. I also incorporate mindfulness and self-care practices to help clients connect with themselves and build coping strategies that support their well-being.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued.
